This award winning actor is considered the greatest superstar of the Malayalam film industry. However, few people are aware of his interest in sports and more specifically, volleyball. Mammootty has been a volleyball player in his youth, a talent that he picked up from his father. He believes that there is a lot of young talent in India and he wants to promote a platform that gives these young stars an opportunity to develop and exhibit it. Before Co-founding SportzVillage, he worked with KPMG Consulting in the US for 5 years. He loves football, athletics and cricket. He holds a Engineering degree from Mumbai University and an MBA from Clemson University, USA.
Saumil Majmudar
He is an IIT Bombay and IIM Bangalore graduate. He has worked with Wipro US, he was the Founder-CEO of Learn@Home and Qsupport and Product Business Manager at FutureSoft (San Jose). Saumil has represented Maharashtra in Badminton and he was part of the IIT Bombay and IIM Bangalore institute Football and Badminton Teams.
Bidlur Shivaprakash
Bidlur Shivaprakash has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University, Oregon; and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from University of Dubuque, Iowa. He has a successful track record of leading and managing companies effectively. He has been involved in several mergers and acquisitions from 2001. He currently is the CEO of IBS Fintech India Pvt. Ltd., which develops software products for companies in Banking and Finance industry. He founded Innovative Business Solutions, Inc.(IBSI), in 1994, a software development and consulting company. He headed IBSI until 2005 when it was acquired by 3i Infotech, Inc., an off-shoot of ICICI Bank, India. He is also one of the principal founders of SysFour Solutions, LLC., a Telecommunication software development and consulting company, founded in 1998, and which has been eventually acquired by Mascon IT in 2004. He is also one of the founders of Innovative Healthcare Group Inc., an International Health Care Staffing Company, started in 2001. Prior to being an entrepreneur, Shivaprakash was a tenured Professor and Chairman of Computer Science Department at University of Dubuque, Iowa from 1988 through 1994 and has on several occasions been a visiting professor in MIS for MBA program in Malaysia and Singapore. He was awarded “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2000 by Dallas Chamber of Commerce. He is also a recipient of “Blue Chip Enterprise Award”, presented jointly by US Chamber of Commerce and Mass Mutual Corporation.
